Lifelines sensing life : exploring drawing life as a language of the senses

Limited walk-in spaces available

The intimacy & vibrancy of drawing from life.

Life drawing in this way, we are centring in presence, being in the body, in the moment, our seeing is opened, our touch enlivened. This instinctive approach cultivates our responsiveness, to liberate our freedom of expression. Whether you are a complete beginner, returning to art or avid experienced artist you are welcome.

Join us for this relaxation into creativity and explore this intimate relationship of material dance on paper in response to life.

Immersing in depth the richness and vitality of life drawing, expanding our vocabulary of gesture, of empathy and seeing. Morag carries an intuitive responsiveness and a strong fascination with the inherent relationship of all things. An artist & dancer she facilitated with the ‘Dancingtao collective’, now ‘Unbound Moving Arts’ CIC. She is founder and facilitator of Lifeline arts & life sensing, embodied movement & exploratory drawing practices. Immersive courses designed to unfold participants understanding of drawing & creativity as a means of sensory exploration and freedom of expression that deepens our intimacy with life. These practices are deeply rooted in teachings of Cecil Collins & 20 years of travelling/creating drawing escapades with Meriel Gold. Influenced from a lifelong practice of movement, body work and a 30 year insatiable fascination of life drawing. Passionate about sharing the beauty, inspiration and connection that drawing freely from life - from bodies, can bring.
