Handbuilt Sculpture and Clay Workshop
Sold out
The Art StudioLimited walk-in spaces available
Join Jake for a drop in sculpture workshop open to all abilities. The session is an invitation to explore clay and learn about hand building techniques. We will work both collaboratively and independently on a series of creatures, places, objects and figures, forming a collective environment. The workshop is an opportunity to work with your imagination and contribute to a narrative sculpture where objects interact and normality slips into obscurity. The clay will be reclaimed at the end of the workshop and continue to be used, while lowering our collective impact this also creates a space where you can let go of end goals and indulge in solely the process and experience of making.
Jake Fisk is a multidisciplinary artist and educator who graduated with First-Class Honours from the Slade School of Art in 2020 and went on to study and teach with the Royal Drawing School.
